FAYETTEVILLE — Moses Moody showed Wednesday night why he was one of the top high school recruits in the nation last year.
The 6-6 freshman from Little Rock scored 24 points to lead the University of Arkansas to a 72-60 victory over Texas-Arlington in Walton Arena.
Moody hit 7 of 12 shots — including 2 of 3 three-pointers — and 8 of 10 free throws. He also had nine rebounds.
“I love that Moses can score in different ways,” Razorbacks Coach Eric Musselman said. “He’s a great young man to be around. He’s really, really, really coachable.
