A 2017 basketball prospect made a quick visit to Arkansas over the weekend.
Forward Jared Ridder, 6-7,195 pounds of Springfield, (Mo.) Kickapoo played for Mokan Elite this weekend at the Warmup in Bentonville and toured Arkansas' basketball facility before heading back home on Sunday. Associate head coach Melvin Watkins and assistant coach Matt Zimmerman showed him around him around.
He has seven offers from DePaul, Stetson, Missouri State, Lehigh and others, but is expected to add more this spring and summer. He said he and Zimmerman have been talking for about a month.
Sophomore linebacker Bumper Pool, who visited Arkansas on Saturday, may return the spring game April 23.
