FAYETTEVILLE — When it comes to Casey Opitz not being drafted last week, there is a similar theme around the Arkansas baseball program.
Player after player said there is disappointment about draft night, but excitement about the future.
“He’s been my roommate for the past two years, so I was hoping the best for him,” junior pitcher Kole Ramage said. “I was hoping some team was going to take him and he was going to be able to live out his dream of playing professional baseball.
“But just being selfish, I always wanted him to come back and play another year.
