Missouri Hires Barry Odom To Be Next Head Coach

Arkansas' MOST HATED RIVAL has a new leader.

Missouri has wrapped up their coaching search by promoting Barry Odom to the top job. He'd been the Mizzou defensive coordinator last season.

Odom is a former Tiger player, and began his coaching career in Columbia. He eventually left to become the defensive coordinator at Memphis, helping to lead that program's turnaround before leaving to go back to Columbia before last season.

He was actually heavily rumored to get the Arkansas defensive coordinator job in early 2014 before the Razorbacks eventually hired Robb Smith.

Despite a dismal 2015 season, Missouri did field one of the top defenses in the SEC.
