FAYETTEVILLE — As the Arkansas basketball team mounted a furious comeback in the second half Wednesday night against Georgia, vintage Bud Walton Arena was in effect.
And for the first time in 2025, the modest but loud, late-night, home crowd would not be denied seeing the Razorbacks win.
Arkansas (12-7, 1-5 SEC) wiped away a 15-point second-half deficit and defeated Georgia 68-65. The Razorbacks led for just 29 seconds, but for the most important moments of the game.
“There's probably 20-30 things we could have done better,” Georgia coach Mike White said. “We block out correctly 4 or 5 more times and you're sitting here in the locker room and you're sitting here during this interview thinking about what a great win it was at Bud Walton Arena.
