FAYETTEVILLE — After eight seasons, the Mike Neighbors era of Arkansas women’s basketball has come to an end.
Neighbors, 55, resigned Tuesday as head coach of the Razorbacks, a position he held since April 2017. He finished with a 148-114 record during his tenure at Arkansas.
The Razorbacks finished the 2024-25 season with a 10-22 overall, 3 -13 SEC record. It was a program record for total losses and was the worst conference record since Neighbors’ first team went 3-13 in 2017-18.
“As I shared in my introductory press conference on April 4, 2017, the opportunity to coach the Hogs fulfilled a lifelong dream,” Neighbors said in a statement.
