FAYETTEVILLE — Mike Neighbors knows the Arkansas women’s basketball team must put a more competitive product on the floor next season.

A disappointing 9-20 (2-12 SEC) season has featured far fewer peaks than valleys, as the Razorbacks have been beaten by an average 30.3 points per game in conference play. The struggles have happened amid a golden stretch for the sport nationally with viewership at an all-time high.

“I certainly know where we are,” Neighbors said. “I don't like being in the position that we are in, and I want to do everything we can do to make sure we're not in it again.
