National college basketball pundit Jeff Goodman can’t make up his mind about this Arkansas basketball team.
A couple of weeks ago, with the Razorbacks mired in a losing streak and everyone in the collegiate hoops media taking shots at John Calipari from every angle, he wrote a quasi hit piece on the of Hall of Fame coach, using quotes from anonymous fellow major college coaches who called Calipari “archaic” and saying that the game had passed him by.
Goodman was especially tough on Hogs guard Johnell Davis, who was then struggling to find his footing in the offense: “Davis looks completely lost under Calipari and it makes no sense.
