After bouncing between the Los Angeles Dodgers' major and minor league teams for the past two seasons, former Arkansas pitcher Mike Bolsinger has a new home.
The right-hander was traded to the Toronto Blue Jays on Monday, hours before the MLB's trade deadline. The Dodgers received right-handed pitcher Jesse Chavez and cash in the trade.
Bolsinger started six games for the Dodgers this season, recording a 1-4 record and 6.83 ERA.
He has spent the past several weeks with the organization's Triple-A affiliate in Oklahoma City, where he was recently converted to a relief pitcher. In 13 minor-league appearances this season, Bolsinger is 2-1 with a 3.
