Arkansas gymnastics’ trip to Fort Worth, Texas, for Friday’s Metroplex Challenge against Oregon State, Arizona and Southeast Missouri State will mark its second meet this season on a raised podium rather than on the floor. If all goes the Razorbacks’ way, it won’t be the last time they compete on podium this season.
The SEC Championships in Birmingham, Ala., will be contested on podium, as will the NCAA Championships in Fort Worth.
Friday’s meet in Fort Worth is not at the same venue as NCAAs, but the trip nonetheless provides some preparation for the championship round should Arkansas reach it thanks to the raised platform setting.
