I don’t like to play favorites when it comes to players; that said, I already am a big fan of Arkansas true freshman defensive end McTelvin Agim. It’s not because of his five-star rating or his immense potential. Instead, it’s because I discovered his life experiences growing up mirror much of my own.
His story resonates with me. I find myself wanting Agim to succeed in life, not just football.
Agim has talked about his living conditions as a child and how he bounced around. That hit home with me. My mother and I moved a lot when I was a child, out of desperation mostly.
