FAYETTEVILLE — A pair of Arkansas athletes are on the short list for the top individual award in college track & field.
Hurdler Omar McLeod and pole vaulter Sandi Morris are semifinalists for The Bowerman, a trophy presented to the top male and female college athletes. Both are among 10 semifinalists for the award, which will be presented at the annual coaches' convention in San Antonio in December.
McLeod was undefeated in the hurdles both indoors and outdoors as a sophomore. He repeated as the NCAA's 100 hurdles champion at the indoor meet in March with a record time of 7.
