FAYETTEVILLE - Picture Russell Crowe as John Nash, busy in the bowels of some University of Arkansas lecture building, scribbling away at equations, possible scenarios in which the Razorbacks baseball team can find itself in the NCAA Tournament for a 15th straight season.
Somebody somewhere has written up those scenarios. A parent or a die-hard fan from the Hog Pen, probably. Unlikely it would be Dave Van Horn or his assistants Dave Jorn and Tony Vitello.
The three of them don’t even talk about it anymore. After a miserable front-half of a Southeastern Conference schedule, Arkansas has dug a hole deep enough to perhaps keep them extending the longest postseason streak in the league.
