Junior college All American shooting guard Daryl Macon has signed his national letter of intent to play basketball at Arkansas. He did so in front of numerous family members and friends during a ceremony at the Little Rock Chamber of Commerce.
Macon, 6-4, 185, of Holmes (Miss.) Community College picked the Razorbacks over scholarship offers from Alabama, Ole Miss, Louisville, Kansas State and Memphis. He's averaging 25.7 points, 5.3 rebounds, 3.3 assists and a steal a game this season while shooting 49 percent from the field and 38.9 from beyond the three-point line.
He averaged 23 points and earned first-team Junior College All-American honors as a freshman while shooting 46.
