Arkansas tight ends coach Barry Lunney Jr. delivered on a promise to an in-state prospect.
Prescott running back Thomas Muldrow has accepted Arkansas’ preferred walk-on offer and will realize his dream of being a Razorback, thanks to Lunney.
After the dismissal of Bret Bielema as coach, Lunney’s future in Fayetteville was uncertain, but he assured Muldrow he was capable of playing on the Division I level and was going to do his best to help him.
“He kept it real and was straight up with me,” Muldrow said. “He told me I have what it takes to play and during the coaching change he made me a promise that no matter, if he was resigned or if he got to stay, he would make sure my name got into the new system and he did just that.
