Craig Victor hit a go-ahead shot with 4.2 seconds remaining and LSU beat Arkansas 76-74 Saturday at Pete Maravich Assembly Center.
Victor's putback put the Tigers ahead after Antonio Blakeney stole the ball from Anthlon Bell. Arkansas had a chance to win the game at the buzzer, but Anton Beard's 3-point attempt failed to hit the rim.
Both teams trailed by five points late in the second half. The Tigers used a 9-2 run to take the lead, but Arkansas had a 5-0 run to tie the game in the final minute.
The Razorbacks led 40-36 at halftime.
