Former Arkansas Razorback and Major League Baseball infielder Logan Forsythe will be the guest speaker at the Hawgs Illustrated Sports Club luncheon Thursday.
Forsythe signed with Arkansas in 2005 and played three seasons for the Razorbacks from 2006-08.
As a sophomore, Forsythe had a stellar season and batted .347 as the third baseman. He had 78 hits, 16 doubles, 9 home runs and 55 RBI.
He was a preseason All-American heading into his junior season and batted .351 with 7 homers and 34 RBI, earning All-SEC honors.
Forsythe was drafted by the San Diego Padres in the supplemental first round in 2008.
