It’s been a while since the Razorbacks have done what they’ll try to do in Game 2 of the Arkansas vs Vanderbilt series.
Having taken the series opener in dominant fashion, No. 2 Arkansas has a chance to clinch its first road series win over the No. 14 Commodores since 2010 on Saturday. First pitch is scheduled for 2 p.m. CT and the game will be streamed on SEC Network-Plus.
Of course, the Razorbacks haven’t played Vanderbilt annually because they were cross-division foes, but they have made three trips to Nashville over that span.
Since taking two of three in that 2010 series, in which it actually dropped the first game before winning the next two, Arkansas was swept in 2015, salvaged the finale in 2019 and then dropped two straight after winning Game 1 in 2023.
