FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas sophomore linebacker Kyrei Fisher announced his intention to transfer with a Twitter post on Wednesday.
Fisher, who earned playing time on special teams as a true freshman last year, said he would redshirt this season before leaving campus. Fisher played in games against Eastern Illinois and North Texas this season, but did not record any statistics.
Fisher, a graduate of Tulsa (Okla.) Union, is the second Razorback this week to publicize his plan to transfer, following receiver Jonathan Nance. A new NCAA rule allows players to play in as many as four games without losing a season of eligibility.
