FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas junior Connor Limpert is a semifinalist for the 2018 Lou Groza Award, which annually recognizes college football’s top kicker.

Limpert has made 16 of 20 field goal tries this season and all 27 extra point attempts. He is 11 of 12 from inside 39 yards and 2 of 3 from 50-plus yards. In the Razorbacks’ loss to Vanderbilt, Limpert connected on a 55-yard field goal in the third quarter, besting his previous long of 54 yards against North Texas earlier this season.

Limpert’s 55-yard field goal was the longest by an Arkansas kicker since Kendall Trainor made a 58-yard attempt 30 years ago.
