FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas softball coach Mike Larabee resigned Sunday within hours of his team finishing its season.
The Razorbacks were 16-37 this season and 1-23 in conference play. Larabee coached Arkansas for six seasons, taking the program to two NCAA tournaments.
Larabee finished his Razorbacks tenure with a 149-181 record. Larabee is just two years removed from leading Arkansas to a 36-win season in which the program was ranked for the first time ever.
UA athletics director Jeff Long said he will conduct a nationwide search for Larabee's replacement.
