ARLINGTON, Texas — Arkansas sophomore Kuhio Aloy’s big late-inning swing only tied the game Friday night when the Razorbacks lost a 1-run game to Kansas State.
On Saturday, Aloy’s big swing, several pressure pitches and defensive plays down the stretch helped the fifth-ranked Razorbacks to a 2-1 victory over 23rd-ranked TCU in front of a pro-Arkansas announced crowd of 17,994 at Globe Life Field.
The Razorbacks (5-1) will attempt to leave North Texas with a winning weekend record after they play Michigan on Sunday at 11 a.m.
“Last night’s loss really pissed us off,” Aloy said.
