LITTLE ROCK — The SEC football schedule in November is ready-made for multiple head-to-head reviews of the four new head coaches in the league.
Twice during the final month of the season, Arkansas’ Sam Pittman, Mississippi State’s Mike Leach, Ole Miss’ Lane Kiffin and Missouri’s Eliah Drinkwitz go against each other, and only one November weekend lacks a game between two of the four.
Other than Ole Miss vs. Missouri, each coach’s team plays the team coached by the other three newbies. Pittman, Leach and Kiffin are matched vs. the other two simply because their teams are in the same division of the SEC, plus Missouri is Arkansas’ permanent opponent from the East and Mississippi State meets Missouri for the first time since 2015.
