Keuchel sets franchise record

Dallas Keuchel earned his American League-best 13th victory in the Houston Astros' 9-2 win over the Arizona Diamondbacks Saturday.

The former Arkansas pitcher overcame a 44-pitch second inning and allowed only two earned runs on two hits and three walks while striking out eight batters in six innings.

It was his 33rd straight start with at least six innings, setting an Astros' franchise record. It broke a record previously held by Brett Myers, who had 32 straight starts of at least six innings in 2010.

The win improved Keuchel to 10-0 at home, which is also a franchise record.
