FAYETTEVILLE — Karley Johnson has earned minutes for the Arkansas women’s basketball team over its last three games.
When she has been on the court, the junior guard from Oklahoma City has given the Razorbacks a much-needed edge. Her toughness and all-out effort are noticeable.
Following a 101-60 blowout loss at Vanderbilt on Jan. 23, eighth-year Arkansas coach Mike Neighbors said moving forward those who play the hardest would play the most.
Johnson was not part of his frustration after that game. The Razorbacks were outscored by the fewest points while she was on the court, and she scored a season-high 14 points.
