Kansas transfer Wyvette Mayberry transferring to Arkansas women's basketball

FAYETTEVILLE — Kansas transfer guard Wyvette Mayberry committed to the Arkansas women’s basketball team Thursday, On3 reported.

Mayberry, 5-7, averaged 10.1 points, 2.6 assists and 2.6 rebounds over three seasons with the Jayhawks. She will be a sixth-year player in 2025-26 after missing most of the 2024-25 season with a knee injury.

She is the daughter of Arkansas men’s basketball legend Lee Mayberry, the program’s No. 3 all-time scorer.

Wyvette Mayberry began her career at Tulsa, where she played two seasons and averaged 13.4 points, 3.8 rebounds and 3 assists. She graduated from nearby Booker T.
