FAYETTEVILLE — Former Kansas second baseman Tavian Josenberger announced Saturday he will transfer to Arkansas.
Josenberger (6-0, 185 pounds) has a career .296 batting average, .773 OPS, 3 home runs and 54 RBI. He started 103 games over two seasons at Kansas and was honorable mention All-Big 12 as a sophomore this year.
Kansas coach Ritch Prince announced his retirement in May following 20 seasons at the program.
“First off I’d like to thank the University of Kansas for the past 2 years,” Josenberger wrote on his Twitter page. “I will forever cherish the memories and friendships that I’ve made.
