MEMPHIS — Arkansas expects to see a lot of runs from Kansas State this weekend at the Liberty Bowl.
That's not necessarily a bad thing.
While struggling against the pass, the Razorbacks have been one of college football's best against the run this season. Entering the bowl season, Arkansas ranks 16th nationally and second in the SEC in run defense, allowing 119.6 yards per game.
Only one running back, Auburn's Peyton Barber, rushed for more than 100 yards against the Razorbacks and none did in regulation. The only player to rush for more than 100 yards in regulation against Arkansas was Ole Miss quarterback Chad Kelly, who had several long scrambles in the Razorbacks' overtime win.
