FAYETTEVILLE — The University of Arkansas' first sporting event of the new athletic year will be played Saturday night at Razorback Field.
Arkansas soccer will host Kansas State in an exhibition match at 6:30 p.m. that is free to the public. It is the first of two exhibitions this month for the Razorbacks, who will travel to Nebraska on Aug. 9.
Arkansas returns several of the top contributors from last season's team that was 11-11-2 overall, finished runner-up at the SEC Tournament and advanced to the NCAA Tournament for the second consecutive season.
"The good news is we have a very veteran group," seventh-year coach Colby Hale said.
