During Arkansas' bye week in October, Coach Bret Bielema and offensive line coach Sam Pittman traveled to see junior college offensive lineman Dwayne Wallace of Riverside Community College in California.
"That meant a lot to me because no other head coach came out to see me," Wallace said. "It meant a lot."
Wallace, 6-5, 328 pounds, 5.1 seconds in the 40-yard dash, has scholarship offers from Arkansas, Louisville, Texas Tech, Kansas State, Fresno State, Nevada-Las Vegas and San Diego State. He also is drawing interest from Oklahoma, Baylor, Arizona State and TCU.
Wallace committed to Louisville during the summer but recently reopened his recruiting after learning Louisville would not accept some of his classes.
