FAYETTEVILLE — Mason Jones picked up another SEC weekly award on Monday.
The junior guard was named SEC co-player of the week for his play in Arkansas’ 1-1 week against Tennessee and Georgia. Jones averaged 31.5 points, shot better than 57 percent from the floor and finished with eight assists in the two games.
This is Jones’ fourth SEC player of the week honor of the season. He is the third player in league history to be a four-time honoree, and the first since 2009.
Jones, the SEC’s leading scorer at 21.3 per game, poured in 37 points in the Razorbacks’ 86-69 win over the Vols last Wednesday.
