Jones becomes first Razorback to lead SEC in scoring

FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas junior Mason Jones clinched the SEC scoring title Saturday.

Jones, who played in 30 of the Razorbacks' 31 games, finished the regular season with 661 points for an average of 22 points per game.

Georgia's Anthony Edwards scored 604 points in 31 games to finish second behind Jones, who is the first Razorback to lead the SEC in scoring.

Jones scored 30 or more points in nine games this season, including Saturday when he scored 30 in a 77-69 loss at Texas A&M.

Jones' season-best performance was a 41-point output against Tulsa on Dec.
