FAYETTEVILLE — Kamani Johnson is sick and tired of sitting and watching Arkansas basketball games.
On Tuesday, when the Razorbacks host Mercer at Bud Walton Arena in their season opener, it will be his first opportunity to play in a meaningful game since March 3, 2020.
That day, as a starter for Arkansas-Little Rock, he scored 24 points and grabbed 9 rebounds in a 89-70 loss to Georgia State.
Should he take the floor against the Bears, a 616-day stretch without live game action will come to an end.
“I’ve never sat out.
