FAYETTEVILLE — First-year Arkansas men’s basketball coach John Calipari will host 12 radio shows during the 2024-25 season.
The hour-long “Live with Coach Cal” will originate from Sassy’s Barbecue and Grille on Steamboat Drive in Fayetteville beginning at 7 p.m. on Oct. 28. It will be hosted by play-by-play voice Chuck Barrett and can be heard on Razorback Sports Network affiliates.
Each Calipari show will be on a Monday night except for Nov. 19, a Tuesday show the night after a scheduled home game against Pacific. Each show will originate from the Sassy’s near Wedington Drive.
The show will be weekly for much of the season, but will be infrequent during the holiday season.
