SAN FRANCISCO — Since being announced as the Arkansas men’s basketball coach on April 10, 2024, John Calipari has highlighted the history of the seat he now holds.
He, of course, has his own chapters in the hoops history books.
Calipari became the second coach to reach the Sweet 16 with four different schools — Arkansas, Kentucky, Memphis and Massachusetts — joining Eddie Sutton (Creighton, Arkansas, Kentucky, Oklahoma State) and Lon Kruger (Kansas State, Florida, UNLV, Oklahoma) in the exclusive club.
Calipari won the 2012 national title and has 6 Final Four appearances to go with his 877 career victories, 59 of which have come at the NCAA Tournament.
