Joe Johnson’s career may be winding down, but he’s not done adding to his career earnings, agreeing to a 2-year contract with the Utah Jazz for $22 million. The new deal will push his career earnings to around $220 million.
As Evin Demirel has noted, Johnson is at the top of many stats rankings among NBA Razorbacks, and is only 682 points away from becoming only the 42nd player in league history to score 20,000 career points.
Utah will be the sixth team Johnson has played for, following stints with Boston, Phoenix, Atlanta, Brooklyn, and Miami.
