At one point during the recently concluded basketball season, it looked as if Arkansas coach Mike Anderson could be let go after his sixth season. Instead, he guided the Razorbacks to the second round of the NCAA tournament, and if not for some questionable officiating and some sloppy offense late by the Razorbacks against North Carolina, Arkansas would have at least made it to the Sweet 16.
The Razorbacks were a play or two away from beating the eventual national champions, evidence of how the narrative of a team can change.
