Oklahoma City Thunder forward Jaylin Williams, an Arkansas basketball player from 2020-22, was named a finalist for the NBA’s Twyman-Stokes Teammate of the Year Award on Tuesday.
The mission of the award is to recognize a player who is “deemed the best teammate based on selfless play, on and off court leadership as a mentor and role model to other NBA players, and commitment and dedication to team.”
Williams is one of 12 finalists for the award, along with Steven Adams (Rockets), Nicolas Batum, (Clippers), Jalen Brunson (Knicks), Stephen Curry (Warriors), Tobias Harris, (Pistons), Al Horford (Celtics), Jaren Jackson (Grizzlies), James Johnson (Pacers), DeAndre Jordan (Nuggets), Brook Lopez (Bucks) and Donovan Mitchell (Cavaliers).
