Arkansas' Zach Jackson was named to a third preseason all-American team Monday.
The right-handed pitcher was a first-team selection by D1Baseball, adding to his first-team recognition by Perfect Game and Louisville Slugger.
As a sophomore, Jackson was a dominant closer, posting a 5-1 record with nine saves and a 2.10 ERA and earning first-team all-SEC honors. He also had 89 strikeouts in only 60 innings.
He retired 11 straight Missouri State batters in Game 3 of the super regional to pick up the save and send the Razorbacks to the College World Series.
Jackson is considered a top prospect for the upcoming MLB Draft, as well.
