FAYETTEVILLE — Florida shot 57% from the floor and the Arkansas women’s basketball team was blown out 108-78 despite a career-high 40 points for Izzy Higginbottom.
Arkansas (9-15, 2-7 SEC) lost by at least 30 points for the sixth time in conference play. Its league losses have been by an average of 31.6 points.
The 108 points were the most the Razorbacks have allowed this season, exceeding 101 given up in losses to UCLA and Vanderbilt.
“We didn't capitalize on the momentum from coming off a big win [Thursday over Texas A&M],” eighth-year Arkansas coach Mike Neighbors said.
