South Carolina left an ugly mark on the Arkansas basketball team’s NCAA Tournament resume Saturday in Columbia, S.C.
A nightmarish start for the Razorbacks paved the way to a 72-53 loss to the SEC’s last-place Gamecocks at Colonial Life Arena. Arkansas trailed by as many as 35 points.
"The kids will not watch this tape," Arkansas coach John Calipari said on the Razorback Sports Network postgame radio show. "We're moving on."
The Razorbacks (17-12, 6-10 SEC) scored 14 points in the first half, their fewest in a half since 12 at Nebraska during a 78-71 loss as part of the 1987 National Invitation Tournament.
