Chase Center in San Francisco might not be the world’s most famous arena, but it is among the most spectacular.
The 18,064-seat home to the Golden State Warriors is the newest arena in the NBA. It was constructed at a cost of $1.4 billion and opened in 2019.
“It’s second-to-none, really,” said Theo Elliott, who served as the Warriors’ director of public affairs during the time of the arena’s construction. “When we were sort of envisioning this thing, the idea was sort of like the Rockefeller Center of the West, where it was a destination not just for basketball, but for entertainment and cultural events.
