Improved efficiency leads Arkansas basketball into marquee home game with No. 3 Alabama

FAYETTEVILLE — For the first time this season, the Arkansas men’s basketball team heads into a home game against a high-quality opponent looking to build upon recent momentum.

The Razorbacks, with wins the past week at No. 14 Kentucky and Texas, get another shot at earning their way back into the NCAA Tournament discussion Saturday. Arkansas hosts No. 3 Alabama at 7:30 p.m. at Bud Walton Arena, with the chance at another signature win to add to its resume.

“I think Auburn is probably the loudest place in the league,” Alabama coach Nate Oats said Friday, “but Arkansas, when they get it going there, they rival it.
