FAYETTEVILLE — Utility infielder Hunter Wilson is no longer with the Razorbacks baseball team and will transfer in the spring after receiving his degree from Arkansas, Dave Van Horn confirmed Friday.
Wilson, who initially played at Stephen F. Austin out of Spiro High School in Oklahoma, did not appear on the Razorbacks’ fall roster when practice began last Friday. Van Horn said the two talked in late July or early August about the possibility of Wilson finding another program.
He is currently weighing his options, Van Horn added.
“Everything’s good between us,” Van Horn said. “He just looked at it and he saw that we got a transfer in (second baseman Trevor Ezell).
