Hogs Unleashed a “DORK” Against TTU’s Big Man But Can’t Afford to Sag Off Offseason Needs

Practically all season long, Arkansas had trouble taking care of business when it came to finishing off defensive possessions. On Thursday night, its season ended largely because of it.

The Razorbacks allowed 22 offensive rebounds in their Sweet 16 matchup with Texas Tech, leading to a second-half collapse and heartbreaking 85-83 overtime loss that ended their March Madness run.

Nearly one-third of those came on one possession when the Red Raiders made their initial surge from down 16 midway through the second half. Of the seven they grabbed over a 45-second span, Federiko Federiko came down with five of them and eventually got three points out of the sequence — first with a 1-of-2 trip to the free throw line and then with a tip-in.
