Arkansas’ dream is still very much alive and thriving. After the offense took over in the first two games in Omaha, Arkansas got some excellent pitching to nail down a 5-2 win over defending champs Florida to book a spot in the National Championship Series.
Isaiah Campbell, after a very forgettable matchup against Florida in the regular season, was excellent. He retired the first 14 Gator hitters, and ended with a line of 5 1⁄3 IP, 2 ER, 2 H, 8 K, 0 BB. His command was there in the windup, and the velocity reached 96 at times.
