FAYETTEVILLE — Seven of Arkansas’ 10 opponents in the 2020 season landed in the preseason Associated Press Top 25 poll on Monday.
Six of those teams — Alabama (No. 3), Georgia (4), LSU (6), Florida (8), Auburn (11), Texas A&M (13) — are ranked in the top 15. Tennessee rounded out the SEC teams in the initial rankings, coming in at No. 25.
It is the Volunteers’ first appearance in the poll since 2017.
"This is the best opportunity because looking at where we’re slated, and looking and what we’ve done last two years, and looking at who we’ve got, it’s the greatest opportunity in the nation," Razorbacks receiver Mike Woods said last week.
