Arkansas pitchers Blaine Knight and Kevin Kopps combined to throw nine shutout innings, and the No. 16 Razorbacks beat No. 22 Texas A&M 8-0 Saturday to win the three-game series at Blue Bell Park.
Arkansas (39-15, 18-11 SEC) earned a first-round bye at next week's SEC Tournament with the win. The Razorbacks finished fourth in the regular season conference standings and second in the SEC West, behind LSU.
Knight allowed 3 hits and struck out 2 in a 6-inning start that was pushed back a day because of arm soreness. Kopps struck out 4 and allowed 2 hits in 3 innings to earn his second save.
