FAYETTEVILLE -- Quarterback Brandon Allen and the Arkansas Razorbacks had been here many times in tight games, and it had never gone well.
That changed Saturday in Arkansas' 54-46 four-overtime victory against Auburn.
Allen directed a time-consuming 67-yard drive to give Arkansas a 24-21 lead, the fifth-year senior's first late-game scoring drive to put his team in front, with 1:07 remaining.
He wasn't done.
The Razorbacks needed a series of clutch plays from their quarterback after Auburn's field goal with four seconds remaining forced overtime.
Allen completed 8 of 11 passes for 63 yards in the overtime periods, including a fourth-down touchdown pass to Drew Morgan, and passed for 2 two-point conversions to deliver his signature game as a Razorback.
