Hogs pound Missouri State to snap skid

After being shut-out by LSU in its previous game, Arkansas rebounded well Tuesday at Hammons Field.

The No. 15 Razorbacks recorded 17 hits and beat Missouri State 12-4 in the only scheduled game between the teams this season. Eight starters were among nine Arkansas players to record at least one hit.

Chad Spanberger, Luke Bonfield, Grant Koch and Jordan McFarland recorded three hits apiece for the Razorbacks (26-8). Arkansas scored in six of the first seven innings.

The Razorbacks used a five-run fourth inning to break the game open after Missouri State tied it 2-2 with a Jake Burger RBI double in the third.
